Overview

This website is operated by HourHand, the trading name of the sole trader (enskild firma) Laurin Walter Beldi, registered in Sweden under organisation number 0711058214 ("HourHand", "we", "us", "our"). Throughout this site, these terms refer to HourHand as described above.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, each referenced and linked below. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the website or use our services.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting changes to this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence, or that you have a parent or guardian's consent to use the site.

You may not use our products or services for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, nor may you, in using the Services, violate any applicable law, including intellectual property law.

A breach of these Terms may result in immediate termination of your access to the Services.

2. General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

You understand that content you submit (excluding payment card information) may be transmitted unencrypted and may involve transmissions over various networks. Payment card information is always encrypted during transfer.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Services without our express written permission.

3. Products and Descriptions

We make every effort to accurately represent our products, including custom Seiko-based watch builds. Colours and finishes may appear slightly different on your screen depending on your device and display settings.

All product descriptions are subject to change at our discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and to limit quantities available to any person, region, or jurisdiction.

4. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to purchase, and is not accepted until we confirm it. We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order at our discretion, including where an item is unavailable or there is a suspected pricing or listing error.

Please review your order carefully before submitting, as we may be unable to accommodate changes or cancellations once an order has been confirmed and assembly has begun.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in SEK and do not include VAT (moms). As a business operating under the Swedish VAT registration threshold, we are not currently registered for VAT and do not collect or remit VAT on purchases.

Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice, and the price charged will be the price shown at checkout, confirmed in your order confirmation email.

Shipping costs and any additional charges are shown at checkout. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other options presented at checkout.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Ångerrätt) and Returns

In accordance with the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act and applicable EU consumer law, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

As a matter of our own policy, and beyond the statutory minimum, we extend this window to 30 days from the date you receive your order. To exercise this right:

• Contact us at support@hourhand-watches.com within 30 days of receiving your item.
• Return the item unused and in its original condition and packaging.
• You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or was shipped in error.

Custom watches (e.g. engraved, no-logo, or otherwise built to your specification) are excluded from the right of withdrawal, in line with statutory exceptions for personalised goods.

Once we receive and inspect a valid return, refunds are processed within 14 business days. Items returned damaged due to inadequate packaging on your part may be subject to a deduction. Full details are available in our Refund Policy.

7. Delivery and Shipping

Assembly typically takes 7–12 business days, as each watch is made to order. Shipping typically takes 2–5 business days within Sweden and 3–7 business days for Europe and international destinations. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or other events outside our control. Once an order is handed to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or related fees. Full details are available in our Shipping Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The content of this site — including text, graphics, logos, product photography, and design — is owned by HourHand or its licensors and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without our prior written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.

HourHand builds use genuine Seiko movements but are independent modifications. HourHand is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Seiko or any other watch brand referenced on this site.

9. Feedback and Reviews

If you submit reviews, photos, or other feedback to us, you grant HourHand a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with promoting the Services, including in marketing and on this site. You confirm that any feedback you provide is your own, accurate, and does not violate any third party's rights.

10. Prohibited Uses

You may not use this site to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party;
• Transmit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
• Send spam, phishing attempts, or unsolicited promotional material;
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access or extract data from the site without our permission.

11. Automated Agents and AI Tools

If you use, or cause the use of, any automated or AI-driven software ("Agent") to interact with this site on your behalf, that Agent must identify itself honestly, must not attempt to bypass security measures, CAPTCHAs, or bot-detection tools, and must not misrepresent that its actions are those of a human. We reserve the right to restrict or block access by any Agent at our discretion.

This site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, and visiting such sites is at your own risk.

13. Relationship with Shopify

HourHand is powered by Shopify Inc., which provides the underlying e-commerce platform. All purchases are made directly with HourHand; Shopify is not a party to and bears no responsibility for transactions between you and HourHand.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Swedish law, HourHand is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of our products, services, or website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Swedish or EU consumer protection law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services will be resolved in Swedish courts, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.
