Seiko Datejust, Built Your Way

A Seiko Datejust mod isn't about pretending to be something you're not — it's about getting the look you actually want without waiting a decade on a list. The Seikojust line takes the fluted bezel, the cyclops date window, the jubilee bracelet — all the details that make the Datejust instantly recognisable — and builds them around a genuine Seiko NH35 automatic movement. Roman numerals, arabic dials, or clean classic markers: pick your dial, not just your price point.

The Day-Date Side of the Family

Want the same silhouette with a president's bracelet and a day-of-the-week window? That's where the Seiko Day-Date mods come in. The Seikodate swaps the NH35 for a Miyota 8285 automatic — the movement that actually does the day-date complication properly — paired with a presidential bracelet instead of jubilee. Same DNA, different job title.

The Movement

Every Seikojust runs on a Seiko NH35 automatic. Every Seikodate runs on a Miyota 8285 automatic. Neither is a placeholder movement — they're the same calibers used across proper automatic watches, hand-fitted and regulated during assembly, not dropped in and shipped. That difference matters more than it sounds: a day-date complication driven by the wrong movement tends to jam or skip when it changes over at midnight. The 8285 is built to actually do the job.

Which One Should You Choose?

  • Want it in 36mm or 39mm, jubilee bracelet, roman or arabic dial? Seikojust.
  • Want the day-of-the-week window and a presidential bracelet? Seikodate.
  • Can't decide between roman numerals and a clean dial? That's what the classic line is for — no flash, just a well-made watch that works with everything you own.

Every watch here is hand-assembled in Sweden with sapphire crystal, 316L stainless steel, and a jubilee or presidential bracelet depending on the model. 3ATM water resistance — enough for daily wear, not for diving. This is a Seiko mod Datejust and Day-Date collection built for people who know exactly what they're getting, right down to which bracelet is on their wrist.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a Seiko Mod?

A Seiko Mod is a custom-built watch, hand-assembled with a reliable automatic or hybrid Seiko movement. It's paired with premium aftermarket parts to create a watch that's uniquely yours!

Do they come with any kind of warranty?

Yes. All watches ship with a 1-year warranty covering movement-related issues.

I like a watch, but want a different strap/dial.

No problem. Message us before you order - we can customize it for you.

How long does assembly take?

Assembly takes about 7-12 business days. That's because every watch is built entirely to order. We source the parts you've chosen, hand-assemble everything with care, and run a full quality check before it ships. That way you get a custom watch built to last.
