Seiko Nautilus — The Porthole Case, Built for Every Day
The Seiko Nautilus silhouette — that rounded porthole case and integrated bracelet — is one of the few sports watch designs that actually looks better the more you wear it in. Our Nautiko line takes that shape and builds it around a Seiko NH35 automatic movement, so instead of a waiting list, you get a watch that's ready when you order it.
Meet the Nautiko
Ask around and you'll hear it called the Nautiko as often as the "Seiko Nautilus mod" — same watch, same 41mm case, same integrated bracelet. Standard dials run on the NH35. If you want to see the movement working, the Open Heart Nautiko swaps in an NH38 — a small cutout on the dial shows the balance wheel doing its job in real time, which is a genuinely different look, not just a spec bump.
The Movement and What It Means
NH35 automatic for the standard line, NH38 automatic for Open Heart. Both are hand-fitted during assembly, not just bolted in. Sapphire crystal over the dial, 316L stainless steel case and bracelet, 3ATM water resistance — enough for daily wear, rain, and the occasional hand-wash mishap.
Why the Porthole Case Ages Well
Round cases with horizontal integrated links tend to sit flatter on the wrist than square or octagonal alternatives — no sharp corners catching on a cuff, no lug overhang on smaller wrists. It's part of why the original design became a daily-wear icon instead of a special-occasion piece, and it's the same reason the Nautiko works whether you're wearing a suit or nothing above a t-shirt.
Which Nautiko Should You Choose?
- Want the cleanest possible take on the design? Standard dial, any colour.
- Want people to ask what's happening on your wrist? Open Heart.
- Want the closest thing to the real silhouette without the real price? Either one gets you there.
Every Nautiko is hand-assembled in Sweden and inspected before it ships. This is a Seiko Nautilus mod collection for people who want the shape, the bracelet, and the movement — not just a picture of all three.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a Seiko Mod?
A Seiko Mod is a custom-built watch, hand-assembled with a reliable automatic or hybrid Seiko movement. It's paired with premium aftermarket parts to create a watch that's uniquely yours!
Do they come with any kind of warranty?
Yes. All watches ship with a 1-year warranty covering movement-related issues.
I like a watch, but want a different strap/dial.
No problem. Message us before you order - we can customize it for you.
How long does assembly take?
Assembly takes about 7-12 business days. That's because every watch is built entirely to order. We source the parts you've chosen, hand-assemble everything with care, and run a full quality check before it ships. That way you get a custom watch built to last.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Standard shipping rates apply and are calculated at checkout.
